G.T.P. Passenger Train Set, Glamtoy, Great Britain.
Original vintage tin plate penny toy train set. All tin plate. Includes G.T.P. 511 locomotive, 512 tender, 513 coach, 314 dining car as well as an unmarked signal. Manufactured in Porth, South Wales by Glamtoy / Glamorgan Toy Products (see my blog for more details on this company). Originally distributed through Woolworths. Dates to pre 1953 when the company was wound up. A very rare set in its box.

Size:- box 9.00 inches long approx.
Condition:- In generally good condition, complete. The box is quite discoloured but is also complete. It has been neatly repaired in places i.e. the hinge on the display box. Please refer to photos. n.b. remember this is a small penny toy set not a larger O gauge train set.
