Mettoy - Lucky Prize Target Game, Great Britain.
Original vintage 'Lucky Prize Target Game' manufactured by Mettoy, Great Britain. Marked with the Mettoy trade mark on target and box. The target is fitted with a mechanism that deposits a lucky charm capsule into the cardboard 'basket' when the red star shaped target area is hit.
Mechanism:- projectile operated reward mechanism.
Action:- Target game with rubber tipped darts. Hitting the target causes a reward to be deposited.
Size:- Target 10.50 x 14.00 inches approx.
Condition:- The tin plate target and the gun are in very good condition and in working order. The cardboard 'basket', which attaches to the target is present and in good condition. Both plastic feet are present and in tact. Surprisingly, six of the original eight charm capsules/charms are still present although they are very fragile (I'd be tempted to glue them together with a couple of spots of hot melt glue as there is no real need to open them). Only one of the original three rubber tipped darts is still present (probably the most difficult element to find for these sets). The box is in good condition with some age related wear and tear.
