Playland Scooter, T.P.S., Japan.
Original vintage tin plate "Playland Scooter" toy from the 1960's. Marked with the T.P.S. trade mark (three finger motif) and "Made in Japan". Unlike many other TPS it does not carry the Hirata trade mark. Complete with original box.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up mechanism. Separate key.
Action:- The little clockwork car runs around the track sometimes disappearing through the central tunnel, sometimes taking the longer route.
Size:- box 9.25 x 5.50 x 1.75 inches approx.
Condition:- The toy is in excellent condition, complete and in working order. It probably hasn't been used as the key is still tied to the base. The box is very good but not perfect. Please see photos.
