Super Mini Series, 12 Assorted Cars, Trade Box, Japan.
Original vintage trade box of twelve colourful friction drive vehicles. The toys themselves are not marked but the box is. You can see the Suzuki (Suzuki Gangu Seisakusho) trade mark in the bottom left hand corner of the lid. The original box has a cut and folded lid which can be arranged as a sales display. The box is not marked with the ST mark so the item is presumably 1960's / early 1970's (pre 1971). There are eleven different liveries - Bakery Van, Coca Cola Van, Ice Cream Van, Coach, Airport Coach, Racing Car etc. Please note the sizes recorded below, the vehicles are 'Mini'. This is a neat little display item.
Mechanism:- Friction motor (contrary to the advertising on the box this is not very long running).
Action:- Simple push friction drive.
Size:- Vehicles 2.00 inches long approx. Box 5.75 x 4.00 x 1.00 inches approx
