Western Choo-Choo Express, Kanto Toys, Japan.
Original vintage tin plate "Western Choo-Choo Express" novelty toy from the 1960's. Marked with the Kanto Toys trade mark (KANTO TOYS within a two concentric ring motif) and also "Made in Japan". In original box which is also marked with the Kanto trade mark etc.
Mechanism:- Battery operated.
Action:- Mystery / Bump-N'Go action. The engine moves about erratically. When it bumps into an obstruction it backs up and changes direction in the usual way. At the same time a chuffing noise is produced via a bellows mechanism in the bottom of the engine.
Size:- 7.00 inches long approx.
Condition:- In very good condition and in working order. Appears little used / unused. Please refer to photographs. The box is very good but there is a scuff adjacent to the chimney / smoke stack in the illustration on the lid. Probably it's where a price label has been removed.
