20,000 Leagues Under The Sea Shooting Game, Welsotoys.
Original vintage tin plate shooting game toy made by Wells-Brimtoy Distributors Ltd / Welsotoys. Marked with the Welsotoys trade mark and "Made In Great Britain". Produced around 1954 in association with the Disney film. A very rare item! A difficult item to price but the last one I can track down went for over £600 on ebay. That was with a tatty box. This has no box but is in better condition.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up.
Action:- Moving target with spring powered gun that fires ball bearings.
Size:- 14.00 inches wide approx.
Condition:- The toy is in very good condition and in working order. Ideally the string that carries the targets needs replacing as it has become rather loose. I think there may be a small clip missing that holds the two tin plate elements together. See photos. No box.
