Vintage toy clockwork boat. An early example made in England. Amazingly complete with original searchlight / stopper which covers the key hole and protects from water. With original box, marked with the registered trade name Nurseryland Products. All plastic except for the rudder assembly which is metal. The cast key was in the box when I found this boat but had completely disintegrated due to metal fatigue. Quite a basic but rare toy boat I think as I can't find any other examples online.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up mechanism.
Action:- Simple clockwork boat.
Size:- 9.50 inches long approx including rudder.
Condition:- In very good condition, no cracks or chips. Working order! The box is also good although it does have a tear in one end flap.
