Animal Carousel, Yoneya, Japan.
Original vintage tin plate "Animal Carousel" novelty toy. Marked with the older Yoneya trade mark (S.Y. within two concentric diamonds). In original box which is also marked with the Yoneya trade mark and "Made in Japan". Dates to the late 1950's / early 1960's I believe. The animals in the carousel look to be domestic cats and dogs.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up motor with integral key.
Action:- Carousel rotates while bell rings.
Size:- box 4.25 x 6.25 x 4.25 inches approx.
Condition:- The toy is in very good condition. The box is also pretty good with some slight ageing and wear.
