Antique Wrought Iron Boot Scraper.

Original antique (Victorian or older) wrought iron boot scraper. Hand made with decorative swirls to uprights. The scraper blade is tenoned into the uprights (see photo - open in new window / tab to see full size image). The scraper should be mounted in a sandstone block and packed in with lead. I've left the original nuts on the bottom of the uprights for the sake of originality but these could be removed and the bases of the uprights rethreaded. The scraper has been sand blasted and powder coated to provide the current finish and protection from corrosion.

Condition:- Good condition. Sand blasted and powder coated in gloss black.
