Original vintage tin plate "See Saw Rabbit and Boy" novelty toy. The toy is marked "Made in Japan" but does not carry the Fuji trade mark. Boxes are marked when found. This example is unboxed. It has quite an unusual and amusing action. The figures, which are made from a light plastic material, look identical to those commonly used on the tin tricycles sold by many Japanese toy companies. See Saw and base are all tin plate. A very delicate toy and therefore quite rare. Predates any catalogues I have access to, mid 60's or earlier.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up motor with integral key.
Action:- Wind up by rotating the base. The see saw moves up and down and it also rotates.
Size:- 6.50 inches wide approx.
