Dream Land Bus In Magic Tunnel, T.P.S., Japan.
Original vintage tin plate "Dream Land Bus In Magic Tunnel" toy from the 1960's. Marked with the T.P.S. trade mark (three finger motif) and "Made in Japan". It is also marked with the Hirata trade mark, the company that manufactured the toy. Complete with original box.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up mechanism. Separate key.
Action:- The little clockwork bus runs around the track periodically disappearing under the central section (tunnel). It then reappears from unexpected openings. The secret is that the hidden part of the track actually forms a figure of eight.
Size:- box 9.50 x 6.00 x 1.75 inches approx.
Condition:- The toy is in excellent condition, complete and in working order. It probably hasn't been used as the key is still tied to the base. The box is very good but not perfect. Please see photos.
