Original vintage clockwork "Hawk Speed Boat" manufactured by Sutcliffe Pressings Ltd., Horsforth, Leeds, England. Strictly speaking Sutcliffe boats are made from painted pressed steel rather than tin plate. Transfers are used to add details such as name etc. This is one of the larger Sutcliffe boats at 12.50 inches including rudder. No box.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up.
Action:- Simple clockwork boat with adjustable rudder.
Size:- length 12.50 inches approx.
Condition:- In good used condition. Working order. Complete with plastic screen and flag. The flag could do with a repaint (they appear to have been brush painted originally). See photos.
