Orion Saloon Car, Nomura/Showa, Japan.
Original tin plate 'Orion' 50's style saloon car. The car is not marked with a maker or distributor but the Nomura trade mark is just visible on the box label. The Showa trade mark (which would be on the right hand side of the label) has been worn away.
Mechanism:- Friction drive.
Action:- Simple push along friction drive car.
Size:- 0.00 inches long approx.
Condition:- In good condition. The paintwork is very good with very few chips. The 'chrome' of the bumpers/fenders, grill etc. is not rusty. It looks like it may be nickel plated perhaps or some other metal. All four hub caps are still present. One rear tyre has become sticky and is beginning to disintegrate.
