Pierrot On Bike, Japan.
Original vintage tin plate "Pierrot On Bike" novelty toy. No trade mark. All tin plate except for the figure. The bike appears in several different manufacturers / distributors catalogues. The clown is quite unusual compared to the more common young boy or Father Christmas / Santa Claus.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up motor with integral key.
Action:- The toy moves around in a circle with bell ringing.
Size:- 3.75 inches long approx.
Condition:- In very good condition. Working order. The box is reasonably good but the lid has a few faults, there is a tape repair over some 'push-through' damage caused by the key. Please refer to photos.
