Vintage 'Rudy The Rooster', Kanto Toys, Japan.
Original vintage tin plate clockwork novelty toy 'Rudy The Rooster'. The toy is marked "Made In Japan" but with no indication of the manufacturer or distributor. The box is marked with the Kanto Toys trade mark. The main body and wings are tin plate, the feet are plastic and comb/tail feathers are felt. Integral key.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up.
Action:- Walks forward making a clucking noise.
Size:- 4.00 inches high approx.
Condition:- In very good condition. Working order. Not boxed. Please refer to photographs. n.b the clucking noise has become very faint with age.
