Original vintage tin plate "Telephone Service Car" toy from the late 1950's / early 1960's. In original box which is marked with the Yoshiya trade mark. (KO within a diamond). The toy is not marked.
Mechanism:- Friction motor.
Action:- Friction drive with elevating platform.
Size:- box 2.75 x 7.75 x 3.25 inches approx.
Condition:- The toy is in very good condition, it appears to have been a sample. Included is a card from Minami Sangyo Ltd., Kobe, Yokohama, Tokyo, Nagoya giving details of the toy. Original box in very good condition. The only fault is that the article number of the toy 16707 has been noted on both lid and base. Please refer to photographs.
