Greyhound Bus, Kyowa, Japan.
Original vintage tin plate "Greyhound Bus" toy. Dates to the late 1960's or very early 70's when window boxes became more common. The box is not marked with the ST (safety toy) logo which came into use after 1971 so it probably doesn't post date this point. Marked with the Kyowa trade mark (globe projection with Japanese character) and "Made in Japan". In original box also marked "Made in Japan". The manufacturers number "60" is also marked on the toy.
Mechanism:- Friction drive.
Action:- Classic inertia / friction drive.
Size:- 7 3/4 inches long approx.
