Pekingese Dog, Alps, Japan.
Original vintage tin plate, plush covered "Pekingese Dog" novelty toy from the 1960's. Marked "Made in Japan". In original box which is marked with both the Alps and the Rock Valley Toys (Iwaya) trade mark.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up motor.
Action:- Weighted tail mechanism. Tail spins causing the dog to shake and move about, occasionally bumping into the attached ball. Gives the appearance of the dog playing with the ball.
Size:- 4.25 inches long approx.
Condition:- In very good condition, appears pretty much 'as new'. The box is in very good condition. Please refer to photographs.
