Original vintage tin plate "Volkswagen Forward-Reverse Fire Chief Car" novelty toy from the 1960's. Marked with the Yoneya trade mark (YONE within a diamond). In original box which also carries the Yoneya trade mark and the wording "Made in Japan". The manufacturers number "2181" is also marked.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up motor.
Action:- Car moves ahead until it encounters an obstruction. It then reverses until it encounters an obstruction. Cycle Repeats.
