Western Loco, DAIYA, Japan.
Original vintage tin plate "Western Loco" toy from the 1960's. Marked with the DAIYA trade mark (DAIYA inside a diamond logo) and "Made in Japan. The box is also marked. This is the friction drive version of this engine, a battery operated version was also manufactured.
Mechanism:- Friction drive.
Action:- Floor train. Pistons move and boiler jumps backwards and forwards.
Size:- 9.50 inches long approx.
Condition:- In very good condition, pretty much as new. The box is also in good condition.
